Strawberries!

Barrett brought some strawberries over for us that are growing next door and have just started to ripen. I LOVE strawberries! (Mom says sorry for the faulty camera work)...

We ate dinner outside tonight with Barrett and Aimee. Dad took my highchair out there. I tasted lime tonight - wow! Then I squeezed all the juice out of the lime. I got pretty dirty crawling around. It was fun.

More Steps!

Today was a big day! I walked about 3 feet toward mom to get my toothbrush! Then she grabbed the camera and took this video. I only took 3 steps in this one, but I'm getting there! It's so much fun to walk. It makes me giggle.

In this last one, I'm going for my toothbrush again. At this point, crawling still gets me there faster.


Later today we went to the park to eat lunch, then to the zoo. Some bigger kids were playing with me at the park, calling me their little cousin. Then off to the zoo. We saw the otters playing under the water. Mom and I shared an ice cream cone. That also made me giggle!

Yesterday I worked in the garden with Mom. She was planting flowers and herbs with our friends Aimee and Maggie. I've really enjoyed playing with the faucet out front and the door knobs around the house. I blow on the faucet... and I blow on flowers too.
Today we went to see my friend Anna and Mom and Dad's friends (Anna's parents), Christa and Dominic. Boy - Anna can really run and dance! I could learn a lot from her. We had fun playing together.
Later, at home, Dad and I ran together (he ran and pushed me in the stroller), then Mom and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. She gave me kisses with her eyelashes, which made me laugh! Tonight we ate pizza outside with Steve, Barrett, Aimee, Tim, Andrea, Maggie, Liza, and Kelly. I would clap my hands, then everyone else would clap their hands! When I stopped, they stopped! We did that for about 5 minutes, and everyone was laughing! It was really fun. I like to clap and make my lion face. It really gets people's attention.

What a Week!

Boy - I had an eventful week. Let me tell you about a few things that happened. Thursday was a big day. Mom and I went to the library in the morning for story and song time. I wanted to go look at the books, so I crawled away, but as soon as I did, they started singing "If you're happy and you know it". I stopped in my tracks, looked back, started crawling toward them, and stopped because I wanted to clap. Mom started laughing. She told me I was "so cute"! On our way home, we stopped to smell some really pretty flowers in our neighbor's yard. Mom also bought me three rubber balls and some refrigerator magnets. Later that night I brushed my teeth for the first time AND TOOK MY FIRST STEP!! That was really exciting
Then on Friday night I was gardening with dad. He let me put dirt in my mouth. I was really dirty! I also ate my first mushrooms for dinner this week. Yum!
