What a Weekend!

My weekend was just as eventful as my past week! Saturday we rode along with Mom to work, then Milo came over that evening. We had so much fun. Milo's mom and dad brought over a big long tube for us to play in... here's a video of that.

He was also very entertaining during dinner. He really made me laugh.

Sunday, we went to my cousin Liam's first birthday party in Virginia. It was fun to see all of my relatives and to play with my cousins.

Monday, Milo came over again to play and Dad set up the slip n' slide. Our friends Mary, Barrett, and Kelly were there to join in the fun too. Milo and I both slept for almost two hours after that!

Monday night we went out to dinner with Uncle Matt and Aunt Helen (Milo's aunt and uncle too!). That was fun - there was a big box up in the corner that had lots of flashing colors and action on it. It was mesmerizing and I couldn't take my eyes off of it! (...and I ate french fries).

At this rate, we're going to have a very memorable summer (well, I won't remember any of it, but at least I'll have fun!)

Dad's Done! Summer's Here!

On Monday, Dad took his last final of his first year of medical school. I am SO excited that he is done and that we will spend the summer together! Summer has officially started! So, I had quite an exciting week - my first week with Dad watching me. Monday night we had dinner out behind Ms. Chris' house, and Mom even carried my high chair out there. We celebrated when Dad got there after his test.
Tuesday we went to the pool after Mom got off work. We rode the bus over together - I went under water a lot! Then we went to Tonic for dinner. I drew on the table with crayons, but I enjoyed more putting the crayons in the cup then dumping them out. We got caught in a heavy rain on the way home - fun!
Wednesday I took my first bike ride with Dad on the back of his bike. We went out later and he bought me a helmet that fit me better. He told Mom that he felt like "Mr. Mom" in the store, because my diaper came off and he was trying to put it back on and watch the stroller and keep me from running away all at the same time! I thought it was pretty funny.
Thursday Mom had off work, so we all went to the library together. It was a big day. We rode bikes down to the Mall for a picnic AND went swimming! I fell asleep without dinner that night - I was exhausted! (Mom and Dad did wake me up to drink some milk, but I fell right back to sleep).
Friday - I forgot to mention I started saying "uhoh" and "up" this week - we went to see Mom at work. I was a little shy around her friends at work, but we went during a pizza party, and I got to eat some pizza. After Mom got home, we all had "Happy Hour" out front. I think every hour is happy, but they made me a smoothie for this hour. It made me pretty happy.
Here are some pictures from our ride down to the Mall.
Happy Summer!

Oh, and this is a trick I learned in the locker room at the pool. Hide and seek!

This Weekend

I've started shaking my head "no" over the past couple days. When I do this, everyone around me starts to do it too. I'm not quite sure what it means yet, but I like the way my head feels when I do it. And the reaction is fun too. I've also started to dance when I hear music. I mostly just bounce up and down, but it works for me.
Mom and I had brunch outside with our neighbors yesterday (I've now tried banana pancakes - AND syrup). Then, we picked up dad and went to a baptism party for my friend Bella in MD. It was fun to play with her toys. I'm still working on my walking. We were in church today and a few people said, "I can't believe it - she's starting to look like a little girl! Not a baby anymore". Nope - I'm not a baby anymore.

Coasters and Mocassins

This video is mostly for Aunt Jill (Simon) and Uncle Mark (Jones). I finally fit into my mocassins! (and they're SO cute). Thanks, Aunt Jill. And Uncle Mark - I really like the coasters you made for my mom and dad. Not only do they look nice, but they also TASTE delicious.
